sometimes you reach the stage of job-hunting where it feels like there’s a little devil on your shoulder that’s yelling into your ear “you’ll never work in this town again!” - like you’re an actor down on your luck refusing to bend to the immoral asks of some big shot director. well, the stakes are not that high for me, but i’m certainly feeling discouraged, and I think this is something we can all relate to at one point or another.
so instead of starting a go-fund-me or running a bake sale to keep myself in California, one of the (albeit cringe-y) obvious solutions is to simply “put myself out there.” and after posting on LinkedIn and some professional Facebook groups (lol), i’m going to go out on a further limb and make a small ask of my readership here on substack. apologies for the self promotion.
if we haven’t met outside of my inner thoughts and poetry… hi, I’m Cecilia. :) I’m looking for work primarily in product management and product marketing. For the last 4 years I was the content lead at a successful digital health startup. I’ve worn many hats, and have enjoyed working in product the most - it just appeals to the problem-solving side of my brain. I deeply enjoy user/market research, planning features with developers, and translating strategic needs into priorities.
Here is a brief page about my credentials/ experience related to product
