I went to Yosemite with my friend Vanessa in 2019. We drove all through the night, and after she fell asleep at the wheel for .005 seconds, I took over driving, blasting Kanye for 4 hours until we got to the site. We befriended some very unprepared tourists from the Netherlands (pictured here, caring a cardboard box with booze, marshmallows and firewood inside) and a British tourist who had been living in Spain. We hiked a lot and ate vegetarian all week. The very first photo is the most insane picture I’ve ever taken in my life. I’m very proud of it. Want to go back and have more rousing conversations over a campfire, preferably with a bratwurst and a cold beer.
